Portraits

Portraiture for me has never been about studio set-ups or formally posed compositions. There are photographers far more talented than I am who excel at that craft. As with the rest of my work, these images are momentary slices of everyday life.

Many could just as easily have found their way into the Faith, Work, Family or Downtime galleries.

Together they form a collection of individuals, each carrying their own story, dignity and sense of presence.

And each leaves me grateful that, however briefly, they allowed me a moment in their lives.
