Work

Most of my favourite photographs happen once I stop looking at the sights and start paying attention to what people are doing.

From the fishing beaches of Sri Lanka to markets in Guatemala, workshops in India and river communities in Cambodia, these images explore the rhythms of working life. They capture moments of concentration, skill, routine, humour and resilience — the small details that often reveal more about a place than its landmarks.

For me, they are reminders that the most interesting stories are usually found in ordinary lives.
